Problem After Problem.
I went on a 25 mile test drive with my fox hahaha.. The guy just handed me the keys and told me to have fun.. just dont wreck it. My 98 i went on a easy 30 mile test drive. i bought it on the spot after that.
Reason i do long test drives now is because when i bought my 91 RS camaro.. I went on a 2 min test drive. then on the way home it started overhearting and acting up real bad in high rpms.
Just keep the fox though. Just use this as a oppurtunity to put some 4:10 gears in and a nice high performance clutch in

man, the dude that sold you the car is just a sucka. that is all.
that thing is sweet and you're gonna have a ton of fun with it- and it looks good.
you got a little work to do on it, but it could be way, way worse. So just do the work and love it.
AND DON"T DRIVE IT IN THE SNOW.
Also, I swear every car that I have ever bought- except in the case that it was brand frickin' new- had at least one or more instances of poor maintenance or neglect that needed to be remedied immediately, whether I knew it at the point of sale or not. I think that's just part of buying any car or truck with any miles on it.
and wait til you see the list of chit I've had to do to this one- I haven't even been driving it daily yet...

sucks to hear that though. Other than the rusted out frame rail, it doesnt sound too bad.
Don't be afraid to get your hands a little dirty, just take it off the road so you dont pay insurance on it.
I was really surprised when I saw your car for sale online. And for Karma's sake, you might want to be more honest than the Previous owner was if you do sell it.

yeah i dont think im gonna sell it. Its just a sht load of stuff all added up that needed to be fixed.. The most important right now is this oil leak and the overheating.. Both can be fixed with a new gasket and a new rad so it isnt that bad..
The frame rail is what is always haunting my mind lol.. The engine would have to be pulled to repair it so it kinda makes me think twice.. That would be a huge expense..

how bad is the rail?
and dude, I hate to be the one to tell you but, if it is spraying water out of the radiator when the engine is still cold, it could be a head gasket causing the overheating.
