Wiring questions
Ok,
So I decided a while back that I was going to do a 5.0 swap into my 85 Merkur XR4Ti. I went with a motor out of a 89 and a T5. Im am currently in the process of building my wiring harness. This is stricly a race car, SCCA, AutoX, endurance, blah blah blah. I dont want any emissions and frankly dont need anything that is only needed for streetable driving. My question is: What can I eliminate out of the wiring harness that is unneeded and/or emissions related? How do I trick the computer (A9L) into thinking that everything is working properly so that it wont spit out codes? Thanks for the help!
