Default Going to the Track!!

Well, I am taking my Stang to the track tomorrow night to see what it can do(1/8th mile, not 1/4) It's got about 900 miles on the rebuild and it's time to break it in. I am taking my DD Mustang not the S/C( don't have drag radials no more) one. It's a 95GTS w/a 306, ported lower intake, full exhaust, K&N, and 15 degrees timing. So yeah, it's super fast!!!! Let's see who can guess the closest time......

Man I am aiming for a blazing 9.90. If it can't do better than that, I am rolling it into my local lake.

Sadly no! It's got the stock 3.08's which I know are going to kill me. But 80mph@2100 is nice to live with. If I had gears I would guess a low 9. I ran a 9.39@78 w/bolt-ons and 4.10's in my AODE Mustang and 10.17@71 w/just bolt-ons(Both w/crappy 60's)

Tell me about it. When it had just a shift kit, flows and a CAI is ran a shameful 10.33@69mph. A 70's pickup truck dusted me. With that acceleration velocity I was able to take a nap, call my friends, read a good book, then look to the side as the people in the stands laughed at my slow GT. Luckily, it doesn't do that anymore

my buddies 89 with a 1220sl went 9.30s with the 3.08 gear and catless exhaust.

kinda funny because a stock 5-speed will run that
