there are far worse problems in this country then having cops focus on jailing people who bypass emissions stuff..lol

It doesn't matter if a given state has mandated annual inspections or not. It's federal law that O.E. emissions equipment can't be removed, in any state.

Sure are, but all we have to do is watch the news and see our lovely, "justice system", sticking people in jail for anything they can. Collecting a $4,500 for removing a catalyctic convertor is just icing on the cake for the government, especially with the severe budget problems going on now.
