Default will 14 inch rims from 4 cyl fit gt

does anyone know if the 4 cyl 14 inch rims fit on the gt [4lug]. Im quite sure the rears are ok but am unsure of the fronts as i think the rotors/calipers are larger the 88 gt than the 4 cyl cars.
[i need winter rims/tires as the wide16s wont go/stop or turn in th snow]

I am gonna say no, but dont hold me to it. I dont see the tiny wheel clearing the caliper. try finding some 10 hole rims, those are dime a dozen. and 15x7 I think or 15x6... I cant remember, I know ponies are 16x7 cuz I gots them on my car...

yes, my dad has 14in rims on his '85 5.0 LX and swapped them for 15" ten-holes and I used one as an extra for a bit on my '86...

but...

I believe 87+ has bigger brakes so YMMV

No, 14's will not clear the front calipers. The rears will fit though.

your problem with the 16's isnt the size of the wheel. its your tire selection. i drove my cobra for three winters on a 245/45/17 - 275/40/17 combo. You should seriously rethink your position on this topic.
