Winter storage

Default Winter storage

Was curious do you have to take ur tires off the car for winter storage or not?

SEcond anyone know how to polish aluminum rims good or a site that could give me tips? I tried but the finish was less then lacking lol.

Tires are mickey thompson dr on drag lites.

is it going to be stored outside? if so then i would deffinately take them off and store them in a dry place out of the sun. if the car will be stored in a garage or building then i wouldnt bother taking them off.

Dude, get yourself a powerball, an electric drill and some aluminum polish. If the wheels aren't too bad, it will take you 10-15 min per wheel. They will come out like new. Here's some before and after of mine.

I store mine in the garage but I move it, maybe once a month, so the tires don't flat-spot. I've heard that modern tires don't flat-spot but I move it anyway just to be sure.

Pump the tire pressure up to 40-45 psi to help prevent flat spots....
