it is a real rough idle could it be the engine mounts?

I had a similar problem with a 95 mustang I had it was a bad u-joint on driveshaft... check that?

ok, you're contradicting yourself. your title say rough idle then you say it's rough accelerating. which is it

well it shakes while it idles a bit and seems like a rough idle
and it shakes while it accelerates
