I've got a problem with my 87 gt. In 5th gear or any gear when the prm's arearound 1000 the car will start jerking and then will clear out .I've cleaned the idle air control bot it is still the factory one.Any help would be greatly appricated.

 

has it had a tune up recently??

 

Tune up time, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, clean maf, ect. Make sure you gap your plugs correctly.
