thanks for the great ideas guys. btw, my car is an auto. as for the quarter window trim. the original owner put aftermarket window molding over the original trim. one of them broke off so i have one nice window trim, and the other has black glue of some sort all over it. if i could clean the crap off, then i would take the other one off as well and do the same. i need to try maybe a heat gun and a plastic razor????????????

If the quarter window trim covers are done right they work great and look great, they are just aweful to put on..

If you can get gt40ps at a reasonable price then go for it. I got mine and brought them to the machine shop. I had them cleaned, had the surface checked, 3 angle valve job done, A50 valve springs and B50 retainers put on and had them adjusted to the right seat pressures for my cam, and new valve guide seals put in.
