Default UPDATE

well turns out my ins company is d!cking me over, they wont cover it under comprehensive...

if i file it all under colision then i lose my discounts and my rates increase by alot...

thanks for being there when I need you state farm

I am on the family policy, so of course they wanna be cheap about it... my dad suggested we bang it all out...

I still need to call penndot just to scream at them...

the autoshop wants over 2k to fix it... I barely even have enough cash to afford the parts... and the car needs to be inspected by the end of the month... dammit all to hell

if it's got comprehensive insurance then ofcourse they're not going to cover it. I dunno if theres anything you can really bang out since the bumpers fiberglass and you can't bang out cracks, altho you can fiberglass them .
it sucks to hear tho. i drove my car in one michigan storm 2 years ago and that was it. i bought a truck later that week haha.

Sorry about your fox man. I used to live in northern PA and we always said how crappy penndot was, they only ones that plow are the new guys because they get conned into it by the ones with more years in... It definitely helps to have a beater, I got an escort wagon for 700 bucks a few years ago, but the NY roads that get salted tore it apart so I gotta get somethin else. My fox wouldn't last three years in the winter up here with all the salt rusting it out, let alone wrecking it.

who you calling a noob?

cant really bang anything out... the fender is ruined... the bumper cover is hardly saveable... especially with the hole where my cobra grille used to be... I may be able to make the header panel work... but its kinda cracked....

going to the junkyard to look for parts, but it may be a fruitless effort

Does not snow here but a little every couple of years. I do not drive my Mustang even in the rain. Why risk your car? Lesson learned. Price of repairs buys a beater for inclimate weather.
