Default cam installation

So im putting together a roller motor for my 82 and I am wondering about the cam installation. What is the procedure with the large degree plate? I think its called degreeing the cam, but this is my first time putting an engine together so I wanna make sure im doing stuff right. I checked my haynes manual and couldnt find anything.

Also can I re-use my clutch when converting to a roller motor?

when degreeing a cam you need to find tdc first, pending on the method used, then follow the valve events on the cam card and see if they fall in line at the proper time according to the degree wheel......I use the lift at .050 often when degreeing the custom cams I order..........as for clutch an 82 came with a 10 inch, now would be the time to upgrade to the 10.5 clutch and flywheel thatall newer foxes are equipped with

Thank you. I thought I had heard the 82 had some difference as far as the clutch goes with this engine.
