Default Replacing Suspension Parts Question

I have been looking to upgrade the suspension of my 93 before I do anything to the engine because I'm not sure if anything has been replaced. I'm not racing this thing everyweekend, I just want to make sure when I play with it, it isn't going to break. Assuming that nothing has beend one to it..I'm looking at the following..

Touring Suspension package for 1979-93 Ford Mustang.
Price: $1,017.95

Edelbrock Touring Suspension Kits include the best combination of components needed to upgrade your stock suspension to improve your vehicle's handling. Edelbrock Touring Kits offer an economical upgrade in a complete package. They are tailored for each vehicle specific application and made to bolt-on without frame or chassis modifications. This package includes: lower trailing arms, adjustable upper trailing arm, front and rear coil spring set, and front and rear sway bars

In addition to this I want to lower the car while I'm messing with everything so I'm also looking at..
  • Tokico HP Series Front Strut (87-93) $99.99
  • Tokico HP Series Rear Shock (87-93) $44.99
  • BBK Polyurethane Mustang Spring Isolators - Front (79-04) $34.99
  • BBK Polyurethane Spring Isolators - Rear (79-04) $24.99
  • Mustang Complete Rear Control Arm Kit (79-98) $169.99
  • Maximum Motorsports Caster/Camber Plates (90-93) $189.99

Now the only thing I need to know is what kind of lowering springs do you guys have/like?

Is the stuff I'm getting, you think overkill? I basically just want to take care of everything in one fell swoop. Sound reasonable? Yay/Nay?

Thanks guys, you help me out a ton!

you will NOT be happy with the parts you have listed above.

not to mention... $1000 is WAY expensive for sway bars, springs, and control arms.

You should change your list to have:

Strange 10-way adjustable shocks (front and rear)
H&R SS Springs
Maximum Motorsports lower control arms (rear)
NEW OEM upper control arms
NEW quad shocks
the spring isolators you have listed
the C/C plates you have listed.

You really dont need to upgrade your sway bars, just get new endlinks for the front (preferably energy suspensions ones with the poly bushings)

tube designs, bushing materials, bushing deflection (flexability)

I have a set of summit racing (Granatelli) upper and lower control arms in my car, and holy hell, they are friggin garbage.

I should have spent the money on the max motorsports stuff, but I was cheap.. so now im paying for it by having to buy parts AGAIN
