Default 1983 t top mustang gt

So here is my idea i am getting a 1983 mustang gt 5.0 high output with the 5 speed borg warner transmission

I plan on making this a 11 second street car my first ideas are this
get a trick flow stage 1 camshaft
accufab 70 mm throttle body
cold air intake
steeda option 2 exaust system
frpp aluminum driveshaft
adding 3.73 gears or 4.10

Didn't the 83 have a carb? Did you change the motor to a late model EFI? Is the motor fairly new? If not, and it is time to do a rebuild, it is hard to go wrong with cubic inches. Add a stoker kit. Watch the compression ratio if you plan to add boost later.

heads, cam and intake, then add boost.
Suspension, chassis stiffening are big too.

gets some nice sticky tires too, suspension etc.

I personally like to start with the suspension, brakes and chassis first on a car, so when I add the power, I know it can take the extra abuse and the car can handle...

Yes it still has the carb and it has the origonal engine i plan on rebuilding when i get it and can i put gt40 heads on my engine
