I have an '83 mustang with the 5.0 and and a 4 speed tranny.

I can get a T5 from a '91 mustang 5.0.

Any help on whether it will bolt right up or what I need to consider? (bellhousing, drive shaft, shifter location, etc.?)

I am new to mustangs and I don't know what kind of interchangeability to expect.

you will need all of the accompanying hardware from the 91. bellhousing, driveshaftm shifter, crossmember, clutch fork, clutch, etc.

also, im not aware what size flywheel your 83 has, whether its a 10", 11", or 10.5... but obviously the flywheel and clutch have to match.

83 has a 10 inch stock if it's never been changed and will work fine with the t-5 tranny
