Can't say I have any immediate plans for the orig. engine. I probably will put it on craigslist since my garage is pretty small and I'm really don't have the room for it.

Let's face it....no way in HELL that I could take my 168K mile engine and just re-ring and slap on some new gaskets for $500-600 like was mentioned in an earlier reply (LOL)

Besides, I don't see how I could build an engine with alum heads/ 340 hp for $3,249....

My engine should be here by the end of the month (feb). So now the wait begins......at least in the meantime I can rebuild my T5!
I think that was a smart thing to do, especially since its your dd. Just think of the headaches of a re-build. ouy yuy youy. Now you can get rid of the gt40ps for a little extra mulah.

The engine wont be delivered until the end of the month (feb) so I'm just waiting for it to get here.....BUT I plan to rebuild the T5, install KK clutch, and 3.55 gears while I have the engine out for the swap.

I almost forgot to mention....CJ's had a 10% off sale so I ended up getting the engine for $2925 with free delivery!.....Now I know I made the right choice!
