Default Need help buying a mustang!

im lookin for a fox body 5.0 mustang and i was wondering what is the cutoff for miles on an engine for you guys..
like whats the highest mile mustang you would buy?
thanks if that makes sense. haha

wouldn't matter to me it all can be replaced, if the price is right and it looks good I wouldn't hesitate to buy one with high mileage.

I wouldn't buy a fox as a dd anyway, only a project car. I would buy a SN-95 as a dd though.

miles are pretty irrelevant at this point...... be more concerned with what body work has been done and how rotted major components might be

my current car has 150k and i still spray it though, 3rd car i'm spraying over 100k

I agree with NitrousBob. At this point, with a Fox, the most important part is the body/frame. Odds are the engine will need to be rebuilt so get a good foundation with a good bodied car and go from there.

If you can find an original owner who has taken car of it, mileage becomes a non issue almost. If you get a third owner who is a kid leaving for school, odds are the car has been driven hard and put away wet.

i agree i bought a car that was put away wet lol, body is real nice but interior an motor were not so hot but for me that all i really wanted because i was planning a rebuild
