hci combo for boost?
So this up coming winter i am guna drop in a boss 302 completely forged short block in and plan on getting a custom ground cam made for my set-up which will be 15 psi of non-intercooled boost...but was wondering on heads to use for boost..i herd the twisted wedges are great for boost, but idk how well they will work with the boss block and i have herd great things on the systemax intake for boost as well, but havent done a ton of research
so basically what are the best heads and intake to run for boost for the most power with a custom ground cam and the forged boss 302 block..has dished pistons i want compression around 9.0.1 or 9.5.1 if possible any good combos people are running now? might do some port work as well ti the h/i

Are you going to be buying that forged Boss 302 block for 1999$ shipped deal? If so youll need better rods than what come in that kit....
As for heads, Trickflow heads are a great choice no matter what... boost will cover up minor headflow issues anyways. Just get a good intake, and whoevers cutting your cam should be able to give you a stick thats up to the task.

I am getting ready to do the same thing with the Boss Block. I am going to be running AFR 185s. But I am transfering the Holley intake over. I am concerned about my combustion chamber on my heads being small...... I have the 58cc heads. Do you or anybody else know if this is too small?

absolutely. talk to the people your buying the pistons from, tell them what heads you have and they can tell you what the cr will be. 9:1-9.5:1 is just fine with boost
