I've now bought 3 sets of American Thunder flowmasters. It's a great kit and sounds awesome. Youtube some of them American Thunder 5.0s. I good h-pipe will have you sounding like the old school muscle machines!

I've got one of the older flowmaster catbacks on mine, and it is way too quiet. I'm yanking them off and putting slps on in the spring. I think the super 44s sound pretty good but just about everyone and their brother has some kind of flowmaster on their car or truck. If you get rid of the cats it should sound better and louder with the flows on, IMO.

i have 44's on my 85 5.0. i have an 87 engine in there, and i have converted it to carb. i love the sound of them with my BBK offroad H pipe, but i think the carb has a lot to do with the tone it gives off. they dont sound like flowmasters that every other 5.0 has. but i only got the flows because my buddy can get flowmaster stuff at cost. IMHO, the SN-95 stangs have the potential to sound AMAZING, if i had an SN95 i wouldnt waste my money on flows, and i would get something that REALLY lets the growl out. SLP's sound amazing, and so do macs
