clutch cable

if the cable is going bad will that make the peddle stiff and come up and engage slowly.. and its on a 94 gt. and if it matters i think its the orignal cable

in my 90 gt my clutch cable went bad i bought the steeda adustable kit that included a adjustable cable double hook quadrent and firewall adjuster and it works great shifts smooth

I used the Steeda kit and works very well.

Steeda cables are garbage. I had two stretch on me in a matter of a year. Go to Ford and order one from them. It's expensive, relatively speaking, but obviously if the one on the car has lasted 16 years, they're on to something. A Ford cable with a Steeda quadrant and firewall adjuster will last forever. Damn near.
