My buddy that has the 93 notch, got it from me, and it was a 5 spd, i had a 90 gt aod car and built the 308 tfs engine originally for that car and wanted the overdrive, i go the whole car put together and it would only drive in manual 1, so i started searching found a plug missing lol tore it back apart for that single plug!
Thats what happens when you use an AODE........

AOD is the transmission in this certain situation an aode is much simpler has its own wiring harness off the passenger side connector from the engine bay!!
That is a great improvement in the SN cars over foxbody cars!!!

That is a great improvement in the SN cars over foxbody cars!!!
Except for the way the computer has the trans slip more than it should between gears to give it that "smoother" shift. Thus burning out the bands.....

I havent had trouble with either of mine i have a tq converter and vlv body, you get past the smooth shifting by adjusting the epc solenoid!
