Good question...I'll look tomorrow in the daylight at my vehicle and see if I have a hose in a similar location...

So where the blue hose is attached to the motor, and directly like an iinch below it there's a black hose that now looks to be connected to the Heater Core...is that the 'bypass', you just make that 1 inch loop out of the engine and directly back into it..?

I think your getting your Air Cond. lines mixed up with your heater core. The pic shows blue caps on the heater core. From the pic it's obvious your A/C is not connected either. I think your getting that confused with your heater core connection.

Not trying to be rude, but are you sure you should take on replacing the heater core without really knowing how it even functions/connects first?

It's by no means a hard job (just can be time consuming), but it sounds like your unfamiliar with it all together.

Maybe have a freind help you out or perhaps a little more research.

I totally understand what you're sayin. I can totally do the job and do it well, I actually have general mechanic skills...the only thing I can't figure out is which freakin hose(s) go where. I understand it's 'bypassed', but what's it bypassed to, and what will be left open after I undo the 'bypass'. No biggie, I'm gonna run it to my local Mustang shop a few miles away and have em point it out to me and show me what hoses go where before I start. I DO appreciate the help from you all though!
