I have an 89 5.0 lx. I just bought it, but as i'm driving it will randomly start spuddering, and die out. It will start right back up, and idle all day but as soon as i release the clutch it starts to spudder out again. I have a code reader and i'm getting a "thermactor air system" error code. I'm assuming this has somthing to do with the smog system. The smog pump has been removed, but i'm not sure if the ECU needs to be reprogrammed. If anybody could please help, I would greatly appreciate it
