yup they are taking the stuff off of the 4cyl car to put under the '82 ....... nice car btw i have been following your thread a bit!

i had perfect chance to take pics of the underside but so mad about wat they were doing it was best to leave when i did but ill prolly make it back as they finish up.

yeah sorry for the confusion guys i was in a hurry and just typed ahead of myself.

 

what i was aiming for was getting a strong motor and trans built and put in so i can cruise it and do all the extras as i wanted just over time but now ill have to get a lot of stuff before its road worthy again.... and thennnnn get motor finished to power it again. im tossing around the idea of selling/trading it for something a little more complete. mustang, '65 falcon, 66-67 fairlane, ect..... or just toughin it out and making it a long term project.......???

 

well im somewhat biased towards 82s. But if it isnt practical to keep it and you dont find it anything special then i would get rid of it

 

well i really like the car no doubt about that!!.. but im having a hard time wanting to throw the kind of money at it that itll take, right now........ im downloading pics i took today to upload in a few minutes. looking at how clean it is makes me really happy but lotta work otherwise haha

and that is what it looks like under the whole hatch not rusted through but dirty and has a little surface rust.

 

that things pretty clean good find build her and youll be happy only has minimal rust repair from what the pics show

 

so why did the shop take it apart and put 4cyl crap on it??? that just makes no sense to me... was it not ur car or something???
