I know most mustang owners disconnect theirs, I want to replace mine, since its the annoying BUZZZZZZ kind, with the newer ding chime, but I was wondering if it would be a direct swap.

I know for my Explorer I could get the door jamb switch at Autozone for like $7.

my car has the ding ding ding kind, but its really quiet... I have no idea where the thing is to replace it
that, and my low fuel light, ebrake light are loonnnngg dead

i've always wondered this because i wanted to get rid of mine and disconnect it. its annoying as hell. Im pretty the fuse it uses it hooked to alot of other crap too
