Default 1994 Cobra rebuild??

Well I will be leaving to Afghanistan this summer and I want my Cobra to be a little faster when I return. For Drive line I'm thinking of a T-56 for transmission and 3.73 rear end. I want to either rebuild my motor or get a crate that makes around 350hp-400hp. Maybe supercharged. I was thinking this would be great because then i could have something on my mind other than being in country. I would have my dad take it to a shop for me. Is there any suggestions?

first suggestion... dont pay to get the work done.

our BPA, BAH, BAS, are had enough to keep a handle on. Buy parts while you are away and stock pile them until you come home.

The thing is i'm only a PFC and not married so I live in the Barracks. And I don't have a garage. Plus I'm 1400 miles away from home. I would love to work on it myself but i just dont have the time.

if 350-400 is all you are looking for... just toss a procharger on the stock engine, and swap in a blower cam

you really dont want to run much more than 8-10psi,

and its not a factor of what psi the block will handle, its more the HP level attained.

plus the old gaskets and such wont like such high pressures.

I'd recommend some 42# injectors, 90mm LMAF, a blower cam, some ARP head studs, and MLS head gaskets
