alternator question

i heard i can take an alternator off a 2.3 and throw it on my 5.0 with no power options, please tell me this is true

they have the same amperage output

yes you can do this.i have one from a 93 2.3 on my 87

Yes but you have to spin the casing on it so the mounting points are correct.
