If you go with 96+ you are going to a modular engine and if you ever want to upgrade power you will pay a **** ton more than if you were upgrading a pushrod powered 5.0.

Seriously shop around and negotiate the price down.

My car, when I got it, was completly stock except for a cat back. The body was perfect and the interior was perfect. The engine was strong. The guy wanted 4500 for it. All it needed was a clutch replacement and I used that to talk him down to 2500.

I pretty much stole my car, lol.

Quick question for you guys. The 96-98 32v Cobras..do they respond well to mods? Would I be better off buying a GT and putting money into it over buying a Cobra?

My wife likes the idea of me buying a Cobra. She comes from a mustang family and it's kinda the top of the food chain...that and she thinks it'd have a better resale value...Whatever helps move this along, lol.
