on a 302 you can make over 400rwhp, my build will be damn close on my 306. it'll be a custom solid roller set up with a lightweight bottom end and high revs...not your typical SADI hyd cam set up...but it can be done

i think you need to scrap the turbo idea, sell your heads and cam. start over with a better platform.

exactly. i can say from experience that even with boost, if the heads are too small for the motor itll still be a turd

vic jr. is a nice piece. contact jay at camshaft innovations and he'll hook you up with a proper set up. he can get you anything you need. heads, cam, carb, timing set, lifters...anything.

after you pick out your heads, have a cam custom made for you. the price is comparable to off the shelf cams but the gains are much better

the heads will work just fine with the 347 and boost you will reach your goal easy + some. While the heads may be a bit small they will work just fine the turbo is gone to push the air through the intake side without issues and the exhaust no matter what it flows is gone to run into a big cork anyway as soon as it hits the turbo. I think the compression is a bit high for my liking but like said it will work with the right tune. Hell as far as that goes those heads with some port work will go 9s without issues Lee Rutter did it many years ago way back in the hay day of the 5.0.( showing my age again ) I don't know how much boost he ran but he did it. Boost is a wonderful thing build it and have fun.. like Mike said a stock 302 with enough boost will make 400 HP
