hey guys/girls!

i have an 85 5.0 w/the factory holley 4bbrl...
so here is my issue. once the car has been driven, say ten plus miles.. it doesn't want to start. i'm usually alone so i'm not able to really test out the spark and all that. i've been told the ignition control box is bad about breaking down once they heat up?? so if this might be the case, what replacements might you suggest? talk to me like an idiot please so i'll understand thanks guys!!! need more info please ask..

doesn't want to start ehh??? please define that!!! cranks but won't start or doesn't crank so therefore it won't start???

 

turns over very quickly, but doesn't start up. i really can't tell if its firing. it set for a bit so it is possible its carb. but seems strange its only after its been run, from cold start its fine.
