no you dont have to u can get one from a junk yard for like 20 bucks basic thing is your just getting one to have one lol like lucky said

 

you will gain 0-1hp going with a cai over what you have now. dont waste you money. 99% of the gain received by getting a cai is from the performance filter which you have now

 

Check out anderson ford motorsports!!!!!!!!!! their power pipes are AWSOME!!!!! i had 2 for my last set up, 1 was N/A and 1 was on my Novi 2000 s/c set up! they look great, and are awsoem for any type of set up


ya u wont gain a lot.... But if you are looking for a good unit for FUTURE performance/looks go with the one i listed above

 

thats the only name brand cai i like is the anderson one but not because of the hp gain, because it moves the maf into the fender. this is great if you want to hide your nitrous kit. you put the fogger in the fender (out of site) and still be spraying after the maf

 

^^^^ thats what i will be doing! my buddy did this on his 04 cobra with a dry kit, and it worked flawless!

i saw a guy with a dumby sub box in the trunk, if you pulled the box forward and looked at it from behind it was open and the bottle was mounted inside the box. also seen a 5# bottle hidden in the door. you cant role the window down with it in there but cool idea.

maybe ill just go with the whole bottle in the gym bag.....

 

everyone does that. you might as well put a big NOS sticker on the back window

 

lol, one of our buddies that street races has a big ol NOS sticker, and he tells everyone he doesnt have abottle.... needles to say he does

And maybe ill just make another "fake" battery box and put it over the bottle hahahhaput fake wires coming out of it
