Default mild build AODE build what converter to buy

Gettin my AODE beefed for my girls 95 Its all bolt ons, 3.73s intake shortys h pipe slp catback 14 degree timing UD pullies no a/c.

Extra clutches for 2nd gear and 3rd gear TransGo stage2 shift kit, (other small mods like more line pressure better clutches) real nice trans cooler im up to about 1600 in the rebuild.

What torque converter do I buy? My guy recommended picking from one of the TCI converters, theres two for my car, ones about 800 bucks ones about 400. Are there any other options thats good but a little bit easier on my wallet? What stall speed should work best with my setup

Not TCI and not one for $400. Converters are a "get what you pay for" item. Look into Precision Industries. And don't even bother with anything less than a 3000 rpm stall speed.
