You have about an extra 200lbs probably. Super charging would be the easiest way to hit those numbers. Suspension work will be the best place for you to start your work.

thanks project resto. I've been watching your thread. it's coming along nicely! if 200lbs is it, maybe I will stick with the 94. Any recommendations on the suspension?

Here are the numbers I have found on the net from different sites

Coupe 3258

vert 3405 LBS

Thanks drumpro, I have a long way to go but hopefully it will be done within the next month....drivable at least....

You will need drag springs, adjustable shocks/struts, new upper and lower control arms, tubular front end (k member and front control arms) to lessen the weight up front... the list goes on. There are many threads on this subject.

Where did you come up with that number? Those times can be hit with mid to low 300's with stickies, suspension, and a driver

ok, well, I was only budgeting building a forged piston 302 and h/c/i and upgraded clutch suspension etc. MAYBE a s/c. How hard will it be to obtain those numbers with a mostly stock bottom end? and would I better off with nitrous as far as budget goes? Or maybe the on3 turbo kit? (even though he doesn't make one for the sn95 yet)

so adder, I see you have a 94. Are you saying that I could hit those marks with the 300hp range? I was originally going to just do a stock forged piston motor h/c/i good clutch and a 125shot or so. that should have definitely yielded over that right? And if so, say with the spray, would that get me the times I'm looking for? thanks for all the input guys.
