Default Ok im confused and need help

I have been trying to find a good clutch for my stang. Easy right, well heres the thing i dont have 350$ to spend for a Spec 2 or Centerforce or Ram PGhd right now and i have an advanced auto clutch in right now! Not cool im burning it up quick, i have a stock t5, and my car dynoed at 520hp 560tq. But the reason im confused is this link http://www.americanmuscle.com/kingcobra.html says king cobra hp rating is 315hp. But this link http://www.uprproducts.com/mustang-k...lutch-kit.html Claims 600-650hp. range. The king cobra is in my price range and i need to know if it will work for my hp numbers and also is the pedal effort 10% less than the old KCC or 10% less than stock clutch?

ya know , i'm sure you built the engine with good stuff as it makes good power, and now you wanna cheap out on the clutch?? I know you say you don't have the money now, but trust me that KC clutch will not live up to 600 hp,I don't care what it states there, for 175.00 you'll get what you pay for, I smoked one of those on mine with less than 500, it flat out didn't hold under a burnout and tore up my flywheel surface, you'd be better off with a CF DFX clutch or prepare to replace that 175.00 clutch in the near future when it doesn't hold, then you'll be out the 175.00 + the price of the clutch you should of bought in the first place. the ole saying of there never is enough money to do it right the first time but there always is enough to do it a second, third, fourth ect ect............you cars power requires a good clutch!!

well i call false advertisement! I didnt build the car i bought it as is, thanks for giving me a heads up as to the king cobra though, Yeah the advanced auto cheap clutch is holding up it just slips at wot in 4th. So i mean a KC couldnt be worse then the one i have in it now ya know! So out of them all which is strongest KC, Ram HDX, Centerforce stage 1, or spec stage1 ?

Also i wanted to add that the reason i have a advance auto clutch in is that when i bought the car it had a zoom stage 2 or 3, the clutch was so stiff that it stretched the cable out and had to be adj. every time i drove it. So i put stock clutch in, now stock clutch slips. But my reasoning by not going with a spec stage 2+ cause thats what i need and want is that my trans is stock! And i figure if i get a clutch that will not transfer all of the power from the engine that the trans will last a little longer because i have replaced trans one time when i did the clutch. Its my weekend driver, and i dont take it to the track!

idk, I would look at getting the power level down a bit. No reason for that much horsepower to just play around with on the street.
