no, more than likely its an M5OD which is a very heavy trans and uses a hyd TOB...
and weighs more than any other trans, even a T56...

My cosin has a 92 fox with what he says is a 5speed out of a f250 or 350 and I've heard people say there basically a heavy duty t5 but I need to know what tranny I can bolt up to my 92 5.0 5speed without a ton of money and time

^what he said my buddy broke his f250 5-speed housing and good luck finding 1 of those cheap. Just be careful buying used ones ive been burned twice. If it says its been rebuilt recently doesnt mean it wont grind. You can tear a snchro if you hit it right quick

wrong.

ive done clutch swaps in both my 95 GT and my 95 F150, and they are NOT even close to the same trans, either design, size, weight, and about a million other things...

a T5 will work fine, so will a 3550, TKO, T56 or any other trans, you know, actually designed to fit in a Mustang...

I would definitely recommend going with the factory T5. If you find a good one (no destroyed syncro's) they can usually take a beating on a lightly modded 5.0.

First of all I never said anything about a f150 tranny I know that won't work what I'm tryin to get at is that I would have a better chance finding a good tranny out of something other than a mustang that's had the dog ***** ran off it.
