My buddies went out with a bone stock motor and even factory headers with 6lbs. of boost. He put about 40k on it and it was a re-built unit. Then he had the transmission built, put in a stall of about 2800 and added a better pan and cooler. It would have stayed together that time but, he used the same input shaft and it snapped right off within 20 miles of street driving on street tires. The shaft was defective from the factory I believe.

 

so can you put 4r70 parts in an aod case? if you ahve to get the valvebody, does that mean you have to switch it to being electronic, so i would have to get a different computer/harness for it?
