With the cast V-8 I'd say a solid 3500-3600 for the Starion. I imagine the notch would come in well under that number.....but the performance difference between the 2 was staggerring.....even if the notch tipped in at 2800. The notch had an obvious centrifugal supercharged powerband....the Starion just feels like a stock 5.0. Standing on the Starion in 2nd resulted in little of anything....the notch would roast'em in second. Gear ratios were similar too (3.54 vs. 3.73 if memory serves correctly) so I doubt that makes up the difference. I even questioned the Starion owner about the output of the Paxton and he assured me it was making 7psi.....no boost gauge to check
