Talking locking problem, dont think actuator

ok, theres that actuator, i was checking that out but i don tthink thats the problem, the door doesnt even lock when you turn the key in the door. so would that still be a bad actuator just jammed and not letting me lock it?

Take linkage off the actuator. See if it works. Then replace lock actuator. Bubba

yes its the actuator because when it seizes the linkage attached will not allow the lock cylinder to move

My driver's side door actuator locked up just like yours. I unhooked it and lock it manually. Have been for a while now....LOL.

I just drilled my rivet out on mine,

both doors are basically manual now. both lock fine...

the replacement acuators run about 45 bucks and are made in Taiwan pieces of junk... one burned out again in all of 4 months
