engine making vac under load and wot!
#11
Main reason becasue i dont wanna turn my engine to 6500 to get the small added power!
I like my intake airspeed to be the same speed from filter to tb, not speeding up and slowing down thru the pipe, the inlet on the intake is only 75mm would be a waste to put a 90mm tb infront of it!
I have looked at dyno results from a 75mm tb and then the same exact engine with a 90mm setup, the result was loosing 20hp down low about 3000 and gaining 21hp at 6400, i dont plan on turning mine that high and i like my power down low!
I drive my car daily and it will rarely see the upside of 6000 why build it for more?
But hey those big pipes do look good!
The induction system will be 76mm C&L maf and pipe, with a Edelbrock vic 5.0L intake!
Unless i swap to the fox body induction system i cant run that big of a pipe anyway! I dont want to have to move any sensors around either!
