Question 5.0 engine help

Im doing the 2.3 to 5.0 swap right now. Tearing the 2.3 out (have my 5.0 torn apart to the block) Im going to have it cleaned and checkd for cracks tomrw.
While the motor is OUT of the car, what upgrades should i be looking into doing? Is boring and miling and all that worth the money??? Also i want this to MAINLY be a street crusier with a lil horsepower. any ideas on best cam? or any other parts? any help would be awesome. THANKS.

I would say if you have the moneyz then go for it. There's no replacement for displacement!

If not going to drive it too competitively, then I wouldn't worry about it. I think you could probably get the performance you're looking for from an h/c/i among other things. Even just boring it to restore compression wouldn't be a bad idea.
