Gears in the odometer have stripped. 888-877-1008 www.transmissioncenter.net need gear set F-16. LRS was out last time I needed set. Found these people and he makes his own stuff.

May want to go to the parts department at a Ford dealership and ask for a set as well. That may sound crazy but I've learned that buying parts directly through them is quite a bit cheaper MOST of the time. And they can usually have it the next day.

now i have been in the dealer b4 looking for thermactor plugs , and speedo gears and they told me ford only stocks to -10 year old models.

so anything older they dont have parts for anymore. maybe ordering is different though

sad but true Bob....the dealers don't stock a lot of stuff for the older iron any more. the only thing the dealer wasn't able to order was the round trim covers for the rear shock towers on a hatch model. the pricing thing is true at times....I bought a speedo cable from 5.0resto and it was too short. after it commited suicide on my headers I got one from the dealer...it fit and it was about $6 cheaper!
