i have never even seen that tire yet. but it seems that maybe finally nitto figured it out. i know the regular 555 were serious crap, i'd see 2.2's after long nhra burnouts, the 555r was improved but still nothing to brag about. not when bfg had guys doing wheelstands and going 9's on them. anyways.... yeah, i'd like to see the new ones

the 555R has gotten a bad wrap from people who bolt them on and expect a miracle. I know for a fact that my car will now net sub 2.0 60' times, even on street tires... because i have the proper (geometrically, and mathematically) setup in the back.

****, i got a 1.992 60' on Nexen 255/40/17s street tires... and it was stock with gears and exhaust.. no suspension work

finally have some time to do so. New England Dragway doesn't offer test and tune sessions on Sundays, early in the season. I have MANDATORY work on Saturdays...

But now that the car is tuned, and running well for the most part. I'm trying to get some dyno time so I can get some numbers, then off to the track for the important ones.
