Default Tearing her down

Well me and a friend started taking my engine apart and I was thinking what I should do while Im at?? Nothing expensive, but maybe bore and new pistons? If so what sizes? Remember Im green need specifics about everything.

stock rebuild.... hone the cylinders and reassemble.... with new heads preferably

Check the cylinders for excessive wear. Clean the carbon off at the top of the cylinders and check for a ridge left by the top compression ring with your fingernail. If there is no ridge just freshen it up with a good hone and new rings. If you have a noticeable ridge you might consider going 30 over and installing new pistons. If you buy new pistons have the rotating assembly balanced when the block is being bored.

Depends on the machine shop. Good work aint cheep. Make sure the shop that bores and hones the block has torque plates to simulate the distortions on the block created when the heads are torqued down.
