Could someone point me in the direction of an affordable cam for the 347? Should I be looking at cams with lift around 540 now?

The pistons are notched, but does anyone believe I'll need to change springs or pushrods or anything to run the x or z cam? I still need to study how valvetrain geometry is set up.

any cam change you ever do needs the proper springs matched with it and pushrod length checked more than likely new push rods. never skip this step or your performance will suffer and your money will have been wasted.

What's wrong? I'm sorry if I ask dumb questions, but I haven't LEARNED this stuff yet, that's why I'm starting months early with the studying. Cut me a break....
