sbftech.com

^^one of the better sites i've visited that's friendly still. hardcore50 is good but not the friendliest place around.

I am still considering selling the stroker kit and putting heads on the 302. That would still be an enjoyable boost in power. I'm not building the bottom end anyway, was going to have a local shop do it for supposively 200.

from the sounds of it you cant afford the 347... sry but its true. machine work just for the kit to fit will cost prob around 1000. let alone a decient hci. not even the best just something thats NOT meant for a 302..

if you run the e7s e303 and w/e intake you will prob be slower than me and my car is slow.. all that money spent on the 347 would be a waste..

corral.net and craigslist.org are your friends for used parts. mainly corral.

my whole car was built on used parts. i dont think i bought one thing new besides gaskets and tires..

let me help further convince you to not use 302 parts on a 347.

347 made massive 215 hp.

a 347 requires big parts that flow as much as you can afford. if all you can afford is stock, then prepare for stock numbers.

Yea sounds like I need to rethink this. I jumped on the purchase because the kid was desperate for money and added a lot of extra goodies. Now he's getting his money straight and is thinking about buying it back. Knowing the huge load of parts that he's already sitting on, he'll probally let me keep the extras and I'll sell him back the stroker and block for the same price I bought it for. Oh and when you all say machine work, what exactly do you mean? I have a block already bored for it.
