Default Transmission parts list check

Okay, Just want you guys to check over my purchase items before I actually do it...

Buying them because my T5 in my 1991 mustang gt would not go into 2nd gear anymore, the rear main seal was leaking, and had to remove it because the throwout bearing fused to the bearing retainer...

So...

Promotion t5 on ebay

Centerforce Dual Friction clutch (pressure plate/disc)

Centerforce throwout bearing

Ford racing pilot bearing

Ford racing rear main seal

How do these parts look? Is the clutch the right one? All the centerforce ones are confusing to pick from on jegs. And the clutch says that the centerforce throwout bearing is required to use, can't I use the ford racing throwout bearing one? Because I heard that is the best one to use.

Thanks!

might not be a very wise idea to keep a T5 behind that 331... just pissing into the wind IMHO.

you can buy a TKO on corral.net for less than that T5 will cost you in the end.

Not getting that. I'm going to take it easy on the promotion. And my 331 is only pushing like 300 to the wheels right now IF that.. Hoping to get 350+ when finished. So I think a promotion t5 will do just right...

So how does the list look?

you ask for an opinion then shoot it down?? sounds like you only care about affirmation of what you have already choose to do............don't be fooled by the words cobra in the t-5 from them...I doubt they put the pocket bearing on the input shaft that the cobra uses, most likely they are still using the taper stock t-5 roller bearing set up.........although I have run 10's on a stock t-5 with success, you are living on borrowed time with t-5's, only reason I use them , is they are cheap and I rebuild my own, I however do have a tremec 3550 in waiting when the t-5 goes, which will be the third time when it does..lol

Been told good things about the trans. I want to try it out atleast. I know the person working for them and I can easily return it if im not happy...

not everyone needs better than a t5, because not everyone launches at high RPMS, or burns out or runs slicks... I don't beat on my car. not trying to be a dick at all, just trying to say that I drive my car good and am not crazy with it, so I think a slightly modified t5 will work fine for me.
