you are talking about WAY old news. I run canfields myself... and havent had any problems with them at all.
yeah but will i run into issues with PTV with stock bottom end? will they break the bank?

why would you have ptv issues?? ptv occurs as a result of valve events, not lift, now there is radial ptv, but I run a .560 + lift cam on a stock bottom end with no ptv

Custom cam and beehives is my preference. Having Ed Curtis work on a cam for me right now and he recommended PAC beehives for an LS with a custom spring locators.

good stuff man any other information on this topic even past expierience is great it seems 302army's trickflow kit worked pretty decent after watching his build and seeing his videos... any other expierience on top end work with stock bottom end and how it runs for you is greatly appreciated i want the best for my budget!

^^^^it all depends on your budget, for relatively little invested in my 89 vert's h/c/i, it runs quite well, driving easy, it has run mid 12's, with just eddy rpm he, and eddy rpm heads, custom cam and rpm ii intake, 600.00 for the intake, 325.00 for the cam, and 400.00 for the heads, got them from a friend, and no tune on it yet, suppose I could squeeze out more with a tune
