Default Dual Valve Spring VS Single~trick flows

Stock bottom end getting a top end kit pieced together. TF 170cc heads work best they allow up to .550 lift. With the Stage2 TF cam and 1.7 rockers, I shouldnt have PTV issues. Also listed, some of their 170cc heads allow up to .600 lift. Question is what heads do i get?
Link to the different 170cc heads.

Link to the cam to order...Should I go more aggressive or keep it under .550. Some of the heads in the first link allow more aggressive .600 lift cam.

Help me decide!

you shouldn't pick a head / spring combo based on what it advertises "lift it can handle" there is more to it than just that............

HAHA low 13s are fast to me yeah your probably going to say to run canfields, i could get a set for cheap, but I dont want to buy them and run into a problem where theyre prone to cracking...What do you suggest?

i might be the odd kid out but im always a fan of heads and gear

even cheap iron gt40's with a mild port and valve job, combine that with an intake and even a stock cam, and it's good for hi 12's if you have 4.10's and aint skeered

squirt a bit and hit 11's

of course adder is gonna prove me wrong on tire choice....... i say no nittos and he is gonna post sixties with nittos that can do 1.6 or better. i think it takes mickeys for that we'll see

but hey im just a 40 yr old noob wit 6 stangs runnin

Saying that Canfields are prone to cracking is like saying that trick flow heads destroy valve guides...

you are talking about WAY old news. I run canfields myself... and havent had any problems with them at all.

Hey noob, everyone knows a little tire spin brings up the mph.

lol, I hear that argument a lot and don't understand it either. On a slow car, I do but, something that makes a lot of power off the line, no...Otherwise John Force and cars that are really fast would be running them. Shane Stack and Tim Lynch have done wonders with street radials but, put a set of slicks on the cars and see what they will do.
