Default body work

Alright I'm an average body work guy I know what I'm doing for the most part. I dont do it full time but I went for some school for it so I know my way around the block. I looking into filling up my engine bay holes not smoothing it just filling in the holes and replacing the driver side inner fender apron. Now has anyone done this the replacing of the inner fender apron is it hard is it easy? Will a flux welder be alright for this task or should I get my hands on doing the conversion to mig? I'm picking up this http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...-Factory-Holes so its going to be I think a easy thing just drill out the spot welds and put this one in right? Any one with experience of doing this please chime in. I know how to paint and weld and do body work I did my first fox mustang when I was 17. I just want to make this look really good you know.

i dont know about installing them but you said your going to fill in the holes. for the same price you can get these that are already filled...http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...mooth-No-Holes
BUT if you have things like a fenderwell CAI or power pipe you may not want to have to cut it out.

its not to hard. Def easier to do with the engine and ALLL wiring out.

and a mig wire would be the easiest. Can be done with a tig, but a lot more time consuming

so the inner fender panels are only spot welded on? mine are hacked up and these would be worth it if it wasnt a difficult removal of the old ones.

Well I'm going to be doing in within the next month. I'll remove all the wiring and everything I went with those ones because I want to keep the holes for the CAI and washer bottle.
