Why does my car HATE 2000 RPM?
Recently my fox has decided to hate being driven in the 2000 +/- 500 rpm range. it started as tiny burps, either up or down in RPMs. Recently, say a week or so, it has gotten much worse. the car will spike or fall anywhere up to 1000 RPM or so. I am at a loss.
I initially thought it was an ingition problem. i got a new cap + rotor, coil, and plugs. i didnt change wires because i changed them last month after one got burned. i did look em over they seem to be fine.
Any advice is appreciated. and the sooner i can find a fix, the better. the car is my daily driver, and i dont have any other ways to get to work.

meh, I had already bought the coil and stuff before it started to act up. Its a stock car, I figured it may be time to get off the original ford coil after 17 years.
also, FPR = Fuel Pressure Regulator?
to clarify the syptoms. arround 2000 RPM the car will suddenly drop a few hundered RPM. its not surging, I thought it was but it was just my foot on the pedal. Ill try to post a video soon.
