i was thinkin of buyin the vortech v3 supercharger kit from lrs and one thing confuses me why not buy the low boost setup for 1000 bucks less and when i get the engine built buy pulleys for 250? is there any problems i would run into? and i know i would need more fuel would an adjustable fuel pressure regulator fix this????

the 8-10 lbs kit which is one step up from the v-3 entry level kit comes with more stuff than just a different pulley for the added boost such as a blow off/bypass valve for the added boost as well as a few other things.

would i have problems replacing the pulleys and blow off valve later on i wonder if i could buy the chip that comes with the 8-10lbs blower? im just tryin to save money and want a fast car heading to college so alls i got is 2grand to spare... just what the low boost set up costs.

you won't save any in the long run, upgrading to the larger boost set up, if all you have is 2k , then go for the 5-6 psi kit, I'm still trying to decide between the 5-6 vs 8-10, I'm leaning more towards 8-10 as I don't think 5-6 will take enough of the edge off for me
